Panzer III/IV - Turret Details: Zielstachel and Hatch Handle 1:35 is a 3D-printed set of the aiming post and the hatch handles for the German tanks. It is an accessory, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed detail set for the German Panzer III and Panzer IV tanks, not a kit of the vehicle. The manufacturer intends it for two items on the turret roof: the aiming post, which it calls the aiming point in English, and the hatch handle. Both parts are at the limit of what injection-molded plastic can do in 1:35 scale, so in kits they tend to come out heavier than the original, or are missing.
The Panzer III and the Panzer IV formed the core of the German tank units. Both types went through a long run of versions in which armament and armor changed, but the turret roof stayed unmistakable: hatches with handles, small fittings and the aiming post against which the turret could be swung roughly onto a target pointed out by the commander. On a model these are the parts that anyone looking down on the turret will see.
Cut the print supports off with a sharp blade and level the areas they leave behind. The parts are tiny, so work over a mat with a light background and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Fit the post only once the turret is painted, otherwise it snaps off easily in handling. Apply filler primer before painting so that the top coat holds on the printed resin.
The set contains only the printed parts listed. The base kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
