Road wheel masks for the Pz.Kpfw. IV in 1:35 scale, cut for Border Model kits. Eight pairs of small wheels with no brush work.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of masks for painting the road wheels of the German Pz.Kpfw. IV medium tank in 1:35 scale. The set is cut for kits from Border Model. The running gear of this tank has eight pairs of small road wheels, so outlining the tire bands with a brush is a job that drags on, especially when you are building several machines of this family one after another.
The Pz.Kpfw. IV was the most widespread German tank of the Second World War and the only one built from the first day of the conflict to the last. It originally served as a support machine with a short howitzer, later received a long anti-armor gun and became the mainstay of the tank units. A large number of self-propelled guns and tank destroyers were built on its chassis.
The wheel is placed in the cutout in the flexible mask, which covers the rubber tire band and exposes the disc. Paint the tire band first, then fit the mask and spray over the disc. Do not stretch the mask, press it down with a pointed wooden stick once it is seated and spray perpendicular to the surface in thin coats. According to the manufacturer the masks can be used again after cleaning.
This is a painting aid and does not contain the model itself. Paints and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
