A set of two insurgent figures in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian brand Spalah. The figures are 3D-printed in resin and supplied unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds two figures of modern insurgents in 1:35 scale. The box states two figures. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Spalah, which 3D-prints its figures from photopolymer resin. Printing allows the fine detail of the kit and the folds of the clothing that injection-molded plastic could not capture at this scale. The figures are supplied unpainted and with print supports, so they are better suited to more experienced modelers.
Irregular fighting groups today are typically recognized by a mixture of civilian and military clothing, captured kit and weapons of various origins. It is this mismatch that is prized in dioramas, because a single character in a vest over civilian clothes can place a scene in time and place better than the vehicle alone.
First wash the print resin residue off the figures, cut the print supports away and sand the marks they leave with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). On resin a primer is a must, or the covering coat cracks on the edges. Skin and clothing are best built from a darker base up to light high points, and the faces come out well after gentle shading.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
