A field telephone line needed kilometers of cable, and that was transported and laid from drums on carrying frames. For diorama builders it is a rewarding object: it tells at once that the scene shows signalers or a staff, and at the same time it offers a place for a striking detail in the form of a laid line. The set contains a fret of metal parts and six resin castings. It is not a vehicle kit but an accessory for a scene.

First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue disappears from the surface, otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and true the surfaces up with a file, and sand with respiratory protection. Degrease the metal parts and prime them. Both are bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. Represent the cable wound on the drum with thin copper wire and leave the layers slightly irregular, because perfectly even winding looks factory fresh.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
