On aircraft models the wheels tend to be the first thing the eye lands on, because they alone touch the base and the viewer has them at eye level. The replacement set from Clear Prop Models offers wheels with a crisper rendering of the tread and a cleaner transition between the tire and the rim than can be drawn out of a split mold. It is not a kit of the unmanned vehicle, but an accessory for a part-built model.
The TB.2 is a Turkish unmanned vehicle of medium altitude and long endurance, driven by a single piston engine with a pusher propeller. The design is deliberately simple and cheap to build, which has made it one of the most widespread armed unmanned machines of recent years. Its use in the Ukrainian defense brought it extraordinary public attention and the type has found customers on several continents. The landing gear is fixed, of three wheels, and very clearly visible in photographs, which is why the quality of the wheels shows on it at once.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry, so that the paint holds. Cut the casting remnants away with a sharp knife, working away from the tread, and level the surface with fine sandpaper while protecting your airways. Drill the axle only after a dry fit. Leave the tires in a dark gray tone rather than in black, as black visually swallows all the rendering on a model.
