Early production Tiger I has shape features of its own. The 1:35 Tiger I Early version E/H1 set carries them over to a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
An upgrade set from Royal Model for a model of the Tiger I heavy tank in its early form, 1:35 scale. The designations E and H1 in the name refer to the same machine: the first production vehicles carried the designation Ausf. H1, which was changed in 1943 to Ausf. E. These are therefore not two different vehicles but two names for early production.
The most conspicuous feature was the cylindrical trunks at the rear, which fed air to the pre-filters, and the equipment for deep wading, with which the tank was to cross water obstacles below the surface. The commander's cupola was still angular with straight vision slits, the road wheels had rubber tires and the machine carried two sets of tracks: wide combat tracks and narrow ones for transport by rail. The Tiger I itself was exceptionally heavily armored for its day and its 88 mm gun earned a reputation that far outstripped the number of vehicles built.
Finish the rear with the filters and the wading equipment before you attach the fenders, as otherwise you will not get into the space. Early vehicles carried a single-color dark yellow or gray finish, so careful shading of the surfaces will serve instead of a varied camouflage. Concentrate the chipping on the edges of the hatches and on the edges of the fenders.
Neither paint nor the heavy tank kit itself is included.
