Rye Field Model RM-2030 is a set of 3D-printed workable track links for the late production Tiger I in 1:35 scale. It is an add-on for a kit; the tank model is not in the package.
Responsibility details are not available.
The RM-2030 set from Rye Field Model holds track links made by 3D printing in resin, in the pattern for the late production Tiger I. It is not a tank kit but a replacement track run for a model. The links join one after another and the finished run stays workable.
Rye Field Model issues several Tiger I runs that differ in link pattern and are easy to mix up. RM-2029 is the same 3D-printed set for early vehicles, RM-5027 is the narrow transport track for moving the tank by rail; the injection-molded equivalents carry RM-5002U and RM-5017U. So compare the pattern against a photograph of the vehicle you are building.
The Tiger I was a heavy tank of the Wehrmacht whose wide combat track was over gauge on European railways. The crew therefore swapped it for a narrower transport track before a move. The late batches differed from early vehicles in having steel-rimmed wheels and a different track link pattern.
3D-printed parts are glued with cyanoacrylate (super glue); ordinary plastic cement will not bond them. Wash the links before building and cut the print supports away carefully; protect your airways while sanding. A primer coat is a must, without it paint will not hold on the print. Assemble the run dry, wrap it around the wheels and only then glue it up step by step.
It is an add-on for a model, not a kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
