Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the small (pocket) Krupp Forel submarine in 1:72 scale from Mikromir. The short-run package contains parts in light gray and clear plastic, a photo-etched brass fret, decals and paper instructions.
The Forel (trout in Russian) was an early small submarine built as a private venture by the German firm Krupp and handed over to the Imperial Russian Navy in 1904. It was one of the first vessels of its kind, an experimental craft that helped to prove submarine design at the beginning of the 20th century.
This is a short-run model suited rather to more experienced modelers: allow for cleaning up the joints and for careful work with the photo-etched parts. The hull can be built complete or set on a stand. Apply primer before spraying; an airbrush and fine highlighting of the rivets and hatches suit such a small craft.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
