Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the light helicopter Mil Mi-2 in the armed reconnaissance version URN (NATO reporting name Hoplite). The model captures the combat form with external stores for unguided rockets and with gun armament. The box contains gray plastic and clear cockpit parts with finely engraved detail. Take the exact configuration of the armament as indicative.
The Mi-2 is a small twin-engine multipurpose helicopter which was series-built in Poland under license by the manufacturer PZL-Swidnik. Alongside the transport tasks, armed versions for reconnaissance and fire support came about as well. The URN version carried rocket pods with unguided rockets and a cannon, thanks to which it could attack ground targets. Armed Mi-2s were operated above all by the Polish Air Force and by other states of the former Eastern bloc.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with a thin cement for plastic. The small fuselage calls for a careful fit; paint the cockpit interior before the glazing goes on. We recommend a primer and an airbrush. Assemble and paint the underwing armament and the rocket pods separately and fit them only at the end. Service weathering around the engines and the landing gear gives the model a realistic look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
