Red Fox Studio 1:48 Bf 109K-4 - 3D color cockpit interior

This set from Red Fox Studio contains a self-adhesive, 3D printed and fully pre-colored instrument panel and further details of the pilot's compartment of the Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4 fighter in 1:48 scale. It is a detail accessory that is glued straight into the cockpit of the kit and replaces the flat plastic interior with a textured 3D part with legible dials.

The real subject

The Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4 was the most advanced production version of the legendary German fighter from the end of the Second World War. It was powered by the strong Daimler-Benz DB 605 inverted V12 engine and had cleaned-up aerodynamics as well as improved armament.

Use and tips

  • The parts are pre-colored, the dials do not need painting.
  • Glue with cyanoacrylate, or with a PVA glue.
  • Before gluing, check the fit against the cockpit parts of the kit.
