This is a resin set from the manufacturer CMK, not a model of a submarine. The package contains three models of the German G7e type torpedo of the Second World War. The torpedoes suit the torpedo compartments of submarines, a store in a diorama and completing ship scenes.
The G7e was an electrically powered torpedo of 533 mm (21 inch) caliber. Unlike the steam-gas G7a it left no visible trail of bubbles on the surface, which made it harder to spot in time. At the cost of somewhat lower speed and range it became one of the main weapons of German submarines.
Separate the parts from the casting blocks, wash and degrease them. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate (super) glue. We recommend a primer and a combination of metallic and matte shades with a fine wash to pick out the detail of the casing.
This is an aftermarket resin accessory, not a model of a submarine. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
