Everything in a submarine upgrade range that is neither flat brass nor turned metal ends up here, and on this subject that means the most ambitious parts of all: cast resin compartments for 1:72 U-boats. Diesel and electric motor sections, the galley, crew quarters, torpedo rooms with winches and carts, open muzzle doors, deck gun conversions and life rafts — the parts for a hull you intend to cut open rather than merely sharpen.

Resin is a different material from the plastic around it: wash the parts to remove mould release, saw pour blocks off rather than snapping them, and use cyanoacrylate or epoxy from the adhesives range. Each section is cut for one named kit, almost always in 1:72, so check the boat type and kit version before ordering. Thin railings and gratings for the same boats live in submarine accessories, where the photo-etched and turned ranges are listed side by side.
