A resin detail accessory from the Czech maker CMK for models in 1:72 scale. It is not a model of a boat but a finely cast German life raft (Rettungsfloss) typical of the fast attack boats of the Kriegsmarine, that is, the Schnellboote (known to the Allies as E-boats).
The Schnellboote were fast torpedo boats of the Kriegsmarine, deployed in the Second World War in the English Channel, the North Sea and the Mediterranean. Inflatable or rigid life rafts were part of their standard deck equipment.
Wash the mold release off the part, separate the casting block and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The canvas and the ropes will stand out with dry-brush painting and a discreet wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
