A detail accessory from the Czech maker CMK for models in 1:72 scale. It is not a model but a faithful life raft (Rettungsfloss) used on the vessels of the Kriegsmarine. The set combines resin parts with photo-etched sheet for the finest elements.
This type of life raft was used on the most varied Kriegsmarine vessels, from the smallest boats to the heaviest battleships. It was standard safety equipment on decks during the Second World War.
Wash the mold release off the resin parts and separate the casting blocks; bend the etched parts over an edge and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The canvas and the rigging will stand out with dry-brush painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
