This is a resin set from the manufacturer CMK, not a model of a submarine. The package contains three models of the German G7a type torpedo of the Second World War. The torpedoes suit the torpedo compartments of submarines, a store in a diorama and completing ship scenes.
The G7a was a steam-gas torpedo, running on compressed air, of 533 mm (21 inch) caliber. It had a higher speed and range than the electric G7e, but it left a visible trail of bubbles on the surface that could warn the target. It was among the basic armament of German submarines and surface vessels.
Separate the parts from the casting blocks, wash and degrease them. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate (super) glue. We recommend a primer and a combination of metallic and matte shades with a fine wash to pick out the detail of the casing.
This is an aftermarket resin accessory, not a model of a submarine. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
