Assault Pistols - Left

Assault Pistols - Left — resin left hands with pistols

A set of small resin castings from the range of the Spanish brand Green Stuff World. It contains left hands gripping assault pistols, that is parts for swapping the weapon on a figure for tabletop battles. It is certainly not a figure, a kit or a complete model: the customer gets only the accessory parts themselves and transfers them onto a figure. The side is part of the designation: the parts are cast as LEFT hands and do not fit the right side of a figure.

Use

• rearming a figure: cut off the original hand and replace it with a part from the set
• setting a commander or individual figures apart within an otherwise uniform unit
• the parts are small, for figures of common tabletop games around 28 and 32 mm
• glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); cement for polystyrene does not hold on resin

Who it is for

For players and modelers who modify their figures their own way and are not afraid of cutting, drilling and cleaning up. Before painting, wash the parts in water with a drop of dish soap so that the mold release residue disappears from the surface and the primer holds. Cut off the casting blocks and smooth the area with a file. Resin is harder and more brittle than plastic; a slightly bent part can be straightened in warm water and left to cool in its new position.

Safety: sanding resin gives off a fine dust that must not be inhaled, so work with a respirator, ideally wet. Figures, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
