A spherical bit 2.0 mm in diameter for the DSPIAE chamfering tool. It has no use without the tool itself.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a bit on its own, not a tool: a spherical head 2.0 mm in diameter for the DSPIAE hand tool for chamfering and smoothing edges. A spherical shape works differently from a conical one: it does not cut the edge into a regular bevel but smooths it into a curve and allows a small spherical recess to be hollowed out. Of the diameters offered, 2.0 mm is the smallest, so it suits the finest work.
For those who already have the chamfering tool from this manufacturer. On its own the bit has no use; it needs a holder with a matching chuck. Choosing the diameter is the main decision: for small holes you need exactly 2.0 mm, because a larger head would take too much off the edge and the hole would grow beyond what is needed.
The bit is sharp, so keep it out of the reach of children. Work with light pressure and few turns by hand; with plastic very little is enough, as heavy pressure will not smooth the edge but break it away. It also pays to try the cut dry on an offcut of the same plastic beforehand: with a small diameter one extra turn is enough to widen the hole so much that the intended part no longer fits into it.
