A collector's bust from the Italian brand Mindwork Games, cast in quality resin and issued as a limited edition. The manufacturer gives a size of 75 mm and an overall height of 135 mm from the bottom of the base to the highest point. It is not a plastic kit and not a toy, but a subject for painting. The sculpting work is signed by Victor Aguilar, and the artwork it follows is by the illustrator Peter Mohrbacher.
In the Judeo-Christian tradition Azazel is one of the fallen angels, and in dark fantasy he appears as a demonic figure. A bust in this format leaves room for dramatic painting of skin, metals and strong textures that would be lost on a small figure.
First wash the resin castings in warm soapy water so that the mold release agent residue disappears, otherwise the paint holds poorly. Cut the sprue gates away with a saw or a cutter and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection, because resin sanding dust should not be inhaled. Glue the joints with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); cement for plastic does not work here. Apply a thin coat of primer before painting.
