A collector's model cast in high-quality resin in 75 mm. The sculpture is by Antonio Marzii and it is released by the Italian brand Mindwork Games, which has focused on collector's figures and busts for painters since 2015. The release is a limited edition. It is not a toy: the model is supplied unassembled and unpainted and is intended for building and painting.
The barbarian is a classic fantasy subject in which the sculpture rests on anatomy, on expression and on materials: skin, fur, metal and wood side by side. The 75 mm size is popular among painters precisely because on such an area you can work with transitions, with the veining of the skin and with the texture of fur without losing the detail. At the same time it is a size that holds its own in a display case.
First wash the parts in warm soapy water, remove the casting blocks and level the mating surfaces. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue and reinforce heavier joints with a wire pin. Sanding has to be done wet and with respiratory protection. Apply a primer before painting. It works well to paint the parts separately and seat them only at the end, so that the rear surfaces can be finished comfortably.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
