DSPIAE PMT-DC is precut masking tape with a digital camouflage pattern. The angular fields are cut out at the factory; all you do is peel them off and stick them on.

A sheet of masking tape with a finished digital camouflage pattern, that is a scheme made up of small rectangular fields resembling pixels. This scheme practically cannot be cut freehand, because its effect rests on all the fields being the same size and following one another in a regular grid. A precut sheet removes that problem entirely.
The pieces can be used in two ways. Either you stick the fields themselves on and spray around them, so that the grid stays in the underlying color, or you leave the surrounding frame on the model and the new paint reaches only the cut-out places. The second procedure gives a negative image of the same pattern, which helps when layering three or more shades.
The set is aimed at builders of modern military subjects and robot figures, that is where digital camouflage appears most often. It will also be used by those who want to repeat the same pattern on several models in order to keep a whole series looking consistent.
The tape is a masking aid, not a decal. Once the spraying is done and it has been taken off, it is thrown away.
