Decal paper with a water-release layer, meant for printing on an ordinary inkjet printer. The base is transparent, so it suits light surfaces and motifs that are meant to blend with what is underneath. On this paper you print your own insignia, lettering, instrument panels or warning placards and transfer them onto a model just like an ordinary decal.
Inkjet printing has no white, so anything white will stay transparent. Do not use this paper on a dark surface, therefore, and design the motif so that the lightest places are supplied by the surface of the model. After printing, let the ink dry and seal it with a clear coat spray, otherwise it will dissolve in water. Cut the decal as close to the motif as you can and settle it on a gloss surface with a drop of decal softener.
Always print the motif a little larger than you need and scale it down only after a test held against the model. The dimensions on screen and on the model differ more than one would expect, and a sheet can be printed again, whereas a badly settled decal cannot.
Keep the paper dry and out of the reach of children.
