This masking set from the Czech maker Kovozavody Prostejov is intended for a model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V fighter in its late version in 1:72 scale. It contains precisely shaped masks for the canopy glazing and for the wheel discs. It is not a kit but an aid for clean and quick masking during painting.
The masks are stuck onto the glazing frames and onto the wheel discs, which separates the areas to be sprayed from those that are to stay clear or in the color of the tire. Once the paint is on and dry, the masks come off. They give sharp, straight edges to the frames without laborious scraping of paint.
The set contains masks only. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
