This set is not a kit but a detail accessory. It contains pre-colored steel safety belts that are glued into the cockpit with no need for painting and faithfully replace the simplified plastic version. The steel photo-etch is easy to shape and holds a realistic sag. The set is intended for F/A-18D models in 1:72 scale.
The McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet is an American carrier-based multirole fighter capable of both fighter and attack missions. The F/A-18D version is two-seat, with the second crew member operating the weapon systems. It serves above all for night attacks and for missions that demand a higher workload from the crew. The two-seat cabin offers room for two sets of realistic belts.
The belts are taken carefully off the fret, shaped lightly and glued down with cyanoacrylate glue or with a glue made for photo-etch. The steel material allows a natural bend over the edges of the seats.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
