1:48 Westland Lysander Mk.I / Mk.III - Full Masking Set (for Airfix Kits)

1 Man Army Westland Lysander Mk.I / Mk.III Full Masking Set 1:48

A complete masking set from the Belgian brand 1 Man Army for the Airfix model of the Westland Lysander Mk.I / Mk.III liaison and observation aircraft in 1:48 scale. The precisely cut self-adhesive masks are intended for airbrush painting and cover the cabin glazing, the wheels and other areas that call for a sharp separation of colors. The word Full suggests a wider scope than a canopy mask on its own.

The real subject

The Westland Lysander was a British liaison and observation aircraft with a high-mounted wing and excellent takeoff performance. It became famous above all for the night operations of the special services - dropping off and picking up agents from improvised strips. The characteristic large greenhouse glazing of the cabin is ideal for masking.

Use

• Stick the masks onto a cleaned and degreased surface and press them down firmly.
• Apply the paint with an airbrush; once dry, peel the masks off carefully.
• Mask the wheels with separate pieces for a sharp transition between hub and tire.
• Suitable for acrylic, enamel and lacquer paints.

Who the set is for

• Builders of the Westland Lysander Mk.I / Mk.III in 1:48 scale.
• Modelers who want clean frames without hand painting.
• Anyone interested in a more complete range of masks in one package.

This is a masking set, not a model of an aircraft. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
