A model figure set in 1:35 scale from the French maker BlackSnake Model. The scene shows German paratroopers (Fallschirmjäger) of the Second World War at a supply drop canister. The set holds two figures and the canister, is made of resin by 3D printing and is supplied unassembled and unpainted as an accessory for building historical dioramas.
The Fallschirmjäger were the airborne troops of the Luftwaffe in the Second World War. Because they could carry only limited weapons on the jump, heavier weapons, ammunition and supplies were dropped in special canisters on parachutes. A soldier collecting equipment from such a canister is a typical motif for an airborne diorama.
First wash the print resin residue off the resin parts, carefully cut them from the print supports and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend a primer underneath and painting with a brush or an airbrush; the canister shell and the gear stand out after toning with a wash and a touch of pigments.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
