A late type fire extinguisher for German WWII tanks in 1:35 scale is a 3D printed resin accessory which replaces a simplified part with a precise replica of the period fire extinguisher.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set is a detail accessory for building military vehicles, not a standalone model. It holds 3D printed resin parts of a fire extinguisher of the late version of the kind carried by German armored vehicles in the second half of the Second World War. The extinguisher was usually clamped onto the fender or the hull of a tank.
The fire extinguisher is glued onto the vehicle and replaces the simplified plastic part. It faithfully captures the body of the extinguisher, the clamping strap and the bracket, so that once painted and weathered it looks realistic. The set is cast in a resin resistant to corrosive enamel paints, thanks to which it takes more aggressive weathering techniques as well.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the print supports and the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. The body of the extinguisher is best painted red with an airbrush; set the metal parts apart and add the lettering with a decal if you have one.
This is an accessory set. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
