Responsibility details are not available.
A set of figures of African rebel fighters cast in resin in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle kit but a figure accessory for building dioramas on the theme of the modern African conflicts. The maker is the Polish brand Mantis Miniatures, which concentrates on resin figures and scenic accessories.
The figures capture irregularly armed fighters in civilian or improvised clothing, as we know them from reports out of sub-Saharan Africa. They suit scenes with pickups, vehicles and infantry and go well alongside soldiers of regular armies or humanitarian scenes. The theme is treated factually, as a historical and documentary subject.
First wash the resin castings in lukewarm water with detergent to remove the mold release agent. Cut off the casting blocks and clean up the joins, then glue the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend applying a primer and painting with acrylics; skin, cloth and equipment will come out after a wash and gentle dry-brushing.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
