A resin detail set in 1:32 scale from Aires. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory intended for the kit of the British jet fighter Gloster Meteor F.8 / FR.9 from Revell. To use it you need the base kit - the set does not replace it, it only improves the exhaust section of the engine nacelles.
The set replaces the simplified plastic exhausts with more accurate resin nozzles with faithful internal structure and fine casting. The Meteor had two jet engines in wing nacelles, so the nozzles are a prominent visual feature and detailing them noticeably raises the realism of the finished model - especially in the large 1:32 scale.
These are resin parts for more experienced modelers. Before gluing, wash the mold release residue off the parts (lukewarm soapy water), cut away the casting blocks with a saw or a knife and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection - resin dust is harmful to health. Glue the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and check the fit dry. Paint the inside of the nozzles in burnt metal shades and bring them out with a fine wash.
