Lavender Tufts - Strips 5 - 6 mm, 100 pcs

HEKI Grass Strips, Lavender 5 to 6 mm

Grass strips from the German maker HEKI with violet flowering growth five to six millimeters high and one hundred millimeters long. A lavender shade is exceptional in a model landscape: in nature violet occurs in bands and clusters, with lavender, heather or flowering herbs on dry hillsides. The strip is therefore exactly the format that suits this vegetation, because in the landscape you really do meet it in rows and bands rather than scattered.

Use

• rows of lavender in southern gardens
• heathland strips on dry hillsides
• flowering edges of lanes, fences and walls
• a color accent in an otherwise green area
• front gardens and ornamental beds by buildings
• a flowering strip along low walls and stairways

How to work with the strips

The strips are not self-adhesive; they are fixed with modeling glue, ideally a flock adhesive or PVA glue. Apply a thin line of glue and lay the strip into it, shortening it with scissors if needed. Lavender is grown in regular rows, so here regularity does no harm, quite the opposite. With freely growing heather, on the other hand, tear the strip into irregular pieces and insert dry grass between them.

Who the set is for

For builders of southern and garden scenes and for modelers who want strong color in a landscape. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
