Stencils for spraying the tactical numbers and unit insignia onto a model of the Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. C in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Ausf. C is one of the earliest builds of the German Pz.Kpfw. III medium tank. It came about in only a small batch before the war, carried a 3.7 cm gun and differs from the later versions at a glance in the suspension of its road wheels on leaf springs. These machines served above all to prove the design and to train crews; the main weight of the fighting was carried only by the later builds with thicker armor and heavier armament.
The set brings masking stencils for the markings of a model in 1:35 scale, that is for the tactical numbers and the unit insignia. Instead of a decal being stuck on, the markings are sprayed directly into the finish, so the result blends with the surface and has no edge of carrier film around it.
First finish the base color and let it dry, and only then apply the stencils and press the edges down thoroughly. Lay the placing out dry beforehand, so that the numbers on the turret sit symmetrically and do not run into the riveted edges. Spray perpendicular and in thin coats, so that the paint does not creep under the edge. As soon as the sprayed paint has flashed off, remove the stencil carefully; if you wait longer it peels off along with the paint. Remove the remains of adhesive with a cotton swab moistened with alcohol and then give the surface a clear coat.
For modelers of prewar and early German vehicles who want to deal with the markings by spraying. An airbrush and a steady hand in seating the stencil are assumed. Paints, glue and other material are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
