The photo-etched set 1:700 WWII Royal Navy Warships Nameplates I from Flyhawk. A set of nameplates with the names of British warships of the Second World War, for labeling a model's stand or base.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched accessory in 1:700 scale, specifically a set of nameplates with the names of Royal Navy warships of the Second World War period. It is not a ship model but a decorative and informative feature from Flyhawk that lifts the presentation of a finished model.
The photo-etched nameplates are glued to the stand, the base or the display case beside a finished model and label the name of the ship legibly. This set is marked as part I and offers one selection of names; the following part II holds different vessels, so the two sets complement each other and are not interchangeable. The set usually consists of one photo-etched fret with a row of nameplates.
Separate the nameplates carefully from the fret and, if you like, spray them a dark color and bring the edges out with a metallic shade so that the text stands out. Glue them to the base with cyanoacrylate or with a suitable contact adhesive. The work is undemanding, and tweezers come in handy.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
