Madworks self-adhesive sanding paper in 240 grit, 20 pieces per pack. It sticks to a sanding pad or to your own shaped backing and comes off after work with no residue of adhesive.

Strips of sanding paper with an adhesive back, 20 pieces per pack, in a coarse 240 grit. The adhesive holds the paper on a flat as well as a rounded backing, so the strip does not travel under pressure, and after work it can be lifted off without a dried residue being left on the tool. The 240 coarseness is meant for fast removal of material: gate remnants, flash on seams and marks from the mold parting line. Paper on a backing keeps a surface flatter than a sponge does, so a face stays flat and a scribed line beside it does not get rounded off.
For modelers who sand on a pad and want sharp edges and a genuinely flat surface, not the rounded one a sponge pressed by the fingers leaves. Twenty pieces will last through a long run of kits, because coarse paper is used up fastest of all the coarsenesses and is most often clogged by plastic dust.
Work from coarser grit to finer, otherwise the scratches from the 240 grit will stay visible even under paint. Work dry and without heavy pressure. Do not inhale the dust from sanding plastic and resin, wipe the working surface as you go and ventilate during longer sanding.
