About product

Madworks Soft Sanding Sponges, 1000 grit (soft sanding sponges)

Soft sanding sponges from Madworks in 1000 grit. The flexible foam layer carrying the abrasive takes up the shape of the part and serves for the very fine sanding of rounded and intricate surfaces alike. These are modeling tools for preparing a surface.

Use

  • Very fine contour sanding of plastic, resin, PVC and ABS.
  • The final smoothing of a surface before a primer or a clear coat is laid down.
  • The flexibility allows the sanding of shapes that flat paper cannot reach.
  • They can be used both dry and wet.

Who it is for

For modelers who want a smooth surface even on intricate parts before painting. The 1000 grit is among the very fine steps.

A sanding sponge is a consumable tool. When sanding dry, protect your airways and ventilate the area.
