A special scriber from the D.L.C. line by the Taiwanese brand Madworks. The blade has a hooked (bent) shape and carries a DLC coating (Diamond-like Carbon). This coating markedly increases hardness, reduces friction and improves resistance to wear, so the scriber holds its edge for a long time and is easy to guide. The body of the blade is 5 mm thick.
The hooked shape is intended for cleaning, deepening and repairing engraved panel lines and grooves that already exist - the hook sinks into the line and, as you pull it toward you, draws the material out of it. It is used on plastic (ABS and PVC), resin and epoxy models. It is a blade on its own, which you clamp into a compatible scriber handle. Under normal use the blade will last two years and more.
This is a modeling tool (a scriber). The blade handle is not included, unless stated otherwise.
