HEKI Tree Kit 6 to 12 cm, 15 pcs

A kit of model trees from the German maker HEKI. The box contains fifteen armatures six to twelve centimeters tall and, with them, fine flocking material from the maker's higher line. The armature is a flexible plastic frame with branches that are spread into shape before flocking, so every tree turns out different and the modeler decides both the density and the coloring of the crown.

How to work with the kit

First spread the branches of the armature outward with your fingers and leave the outline of the crown irregular. Then coat the armature with flock adhesive or thinned PVA glue and sprinkle the material from above over a lined box, so that the excess falls through. Layering gives the best result: first a darker tone deep in the crown, then a lighter one on top. Let the glue dry overnight and only then turn the tree over and tap off the excess.

For layout and diorama builders who want growth made up of trees that are all different, and for modelers who do not mind the extra work. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
