Responsibility details are not available.
A single scriber blade 0.2 mm wide from the Light range of the Taiwanese brand Madworks. The 0.2 mm is a commonly used line width: a paneliner holds in it well and it stays clear on the model even after paint has been sprayed, while it still does not look like a gouged groove. The manufacturer describes the blade as slightly flexible, so it follows the shape of the surface and can be taken over a rounded face as well, where a stiff tip jumps out of the groove. The package holds the blade alone, with the handle bought separately.
For modelers who are starting out with scribing, and for those who want one versatile width for most of the work. The 0.2 mm is a good choice as a first scriber: thinner blades wander out of the line more easily, while wider ones already look coarse in the smaller scales. A handle is needed, as without one the blade cannot be guided straight.
Hold the blade upright and pull it toward you with a light stroke; deepen the groove over several passes, not with one heavy stroke. The tools of this brand are not intended for metal. Store the scriber dry and away from other metal tools. The tip is sharp, so keep it out of the reach of children.
