A Studio27 decal set in 1:12 scale. It holds water-slide decals for creating the livery and sponsor markings of the Ducati Desmosedici GP9 racing motorcycle from the 2009 MotoGP championship, in the first finish (Variation 1), which matches the earlier events of the season. It is an accessory to a plastic kit, not the model itself.
The Ducati Desmosedici GP9 was a works MotoGP class prototype with a V4 engine, marked out by its bold red color and its extensive carbon construction. During the 2009 season the machine's livery differed slightly from race to race in the arrangement of the sponsor lettering, and this first finish allows for that.
Cut the motif out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and slide it off the backing onto the smooth painted surface of the fairing. To seat it over the curves of the plastic use a decal softener, and finally go over it with clear coat, which protects the decals and evens out the gloss.
This is a decal set. The plastic kit, paints, glue and clear coat are not included in the package.
