This is a standalone decal set in 1:24 scale, not a kit. It holds water-slide decals with the racing livery of the De Tomaso Pantera entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race in 1972, and it is meant to bring the matching plastic kit of the car to life.
The De Tomaso Pantera was an Italian-American sports car with a mid-mounted V8, and its competition versions also started in the endurance races of the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. The set captures the period racing livery from the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1972, including the race numbers, the sponsor lettering and the team markings.
Apply the decals to a smooth, gloss and thoroughly dried clear coat. Dip the piece briefly in lukewarm water, move it into place once it comes free of the backing paper and draw the surplus water off. For a perfect fit into the pressings of the body we recommend a decal softener and setting solution; once dry, go over everything with clear coat so that the edges of the carrier film blend into the surface.
This is an additional decal set. The car kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
