A set of photo-etched parts for a model of the Ferrari FXX circuit special in 1:24 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Ferrari FXX is a circuit special derived from the Enzo. It was not intended for road use; the cars remained part of a program in which their owners drove them on closed circuits in cooperation with the factory. Compared with the production car the FXX has revised aerodynamics, a large rear wing, racing tires and an interior without the comfort of an ordinary coupe.
The package brings photo-etched parts for a model of this car in 1:24 scale. A photo-etched fret is a thin metal sheet from which the individual pieces are cut out. They come into their own above all where the material should look thin: on grilles, radiator meshes, buckles and panels, which can only be suggested roughly in injection-molded plastic. The exact list of parts is given in the manufacturer's instructions. Compare the scale and the dimensions before buying.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface, not by tearing them off, otherwise the edge will ripple. Make the bends over a straight edge or in a bender. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue applied in a small quantity, because an excess is difficult to remove from metal. Before painting, wash and degrease the metal and use a primer meant for metal; without it the paint comes off during handling. Radiator meshes look best if you paint them separately before applying them and only then seat them.
For builders of car models who want to go beyond the contents of the box and who have experience with fine work. The kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
