A set of photo-etched parts for the model designated TDF PO-01 in 1:24 scale, prepared for Fujimi kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The package brings photo-etched parts for building a model in 1:24 scale and is intended for Fujimi kits. The designation TDF PO-01 refers to one particular car for which the set is prepared; before buying, check that your kit carries the same designation. The exact list of parts is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
A photo-etched fret is a thin metal sheet from which the individual parts are cut out. The main gain lies in the thickness of the material: grilles, meshes, buckles and panels stay thin even once applied, whereas the same shapes in injection-molded plastic look bulky. On a finished model the difference shows above all in the places where the shadow falls, that is at the radiators, the vents and the openings in the body.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface and never tear them out; sand the remains of the tab down with a fine file. Make the bends over a straight edge or in a bender, so that the edge comes out sharp and straight. Use cyanoacrylate glue in a small quantity, or solder. Before painting, wash and degrease the metal and apply a primer meant for metal, otherwise the paint comes off during further handling. Work over a surface with a raised rim, as small parts are easily lost.
For car modelers who want to take a model beyond the contents of the box and who do not mind working with tweezers and metal. If you are trying photo-etched parts for the first time, start with the larger ones. The kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
