A kit of the Formula 1 car with the type designation T127 of the 2010 season in 1:20 scale. It is a multi-material kit, that is a set in which parts made of various materials come together; the manufacturer gives their exact make-up in the instructions. The set corresponds to the version the supplier designates as Middle Ver., that is the specification from the middle part of the season. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The T127 was the car with which a new stable running under the name Lotus entered the Formula 1 world championship in 2010. The 2010 season was one of those in which teams built, as it were, from scratch returned to racing, and it shows on the car: a clean, simply drawn shape without the complex aerodynamic additions the leading single-seaters carried at the time. The cars moreover changed during the year: the front and rear wings, the radiator covers and small aerodynamic additions were revised, and it is from that that the distinction between the individual versions of the kit follows.
For experienced builders of car models. A multi-material set is more demanding than an ordinary injection-molded kit: it calls for different glues, more careful preparation of the mating surfaces and patience in painting.
The package holds the kit. The paints, the varnishes, the glue and the tools are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
