A set of water-based acrylic texture pastes from Green Stuff World, developed to imitate rust and corrosion. The thick compounds add color and a three-dimensional texture in one step, so that a faithful rusty crust forms on the surface instead of a mere hint of color. The set contains several shades of rust from light to dark, which can be layered and combined for a natural transition from light oxidation to heavily rusted-through metal. It suits hardware, machinery, dioramas and industrial and post-apocalyptic scenes. It is not a kit but a consumable texture material. Each package holds 30 ml.

Use

• Creating rust, corrosion and weathered metal on hardware, machinery and dioramas
• Applied with a brush wherever a rusty texture is to appear
• The depth of the rust is built up by layering the shades from light to dark
• It is thinned and cleaned with water and can also be applied with an airbrush once thinned
• Once dry it can be fine-tuned with washes, filters and pigments
