HEKI decovlies wild grass 5 to 6 mm is a grass mat with a long pile on a hidden carrier mesh.
Responsibility details are not available.
A grass mat from the German maker HEKI from the decovlies line. The grass fibers of a length of five to six millimeters are applied to a practically invisible carrier mesh, so the mat can be torn into irregular pieces and those are set into a landscape with no visible edge. The longer pile sets wild grass apart from short meadow mats: it does not stand straight like a mown lawn but leans over and creates the untended growth that grows on field edges, embankments and abandoned areas.
On a new base apply glue from a spray can and press the mat down, or else lay low meadow grass first and set the wild grass into it in islands. On an already grassed area glue can be dispensed with; the fibers of the base interlock with the pile of the mat and hold. Never tear the pieces into regular shapes; an irregular edge is the main thing that sets the mat apart from a carpet.
For builders of layouts and dioramas who want to get taller and untidy growth into a landscape without working with a static grass applicator. This is a modeling material, not a toy, so keep it out of reach of children. The maker marks its landscaping goods as not suitable for children under fifteen years of age.
