HEKI decovlies Wild Grass, Mountain Meadow, 40x40 cm is a large-format mat for mountain country.
Responsibility details are not available.
A grass mat from the German maker HEKI in the decovlies line, measuring forty by forty centimeters. The fibers are applied to a practically invisible backing mesh and the mat tears into irregular pieces. The mountain meadow variant is toned the way grass looks at higher altitudes: paler, lighter and uneven, because growth in the mountains is slower and one tuft often has a different shade from the next. The large format is intended for continuous slopes.
Apply spray adhesive to a new base and press the mat down; on an area already grassed the fibers hold even without glue. In mountain terrain it pays to work with the relief: leave the growth thinner on the crests and denser in the hollows, because that is where moisture stays. Leave the rock bare in places and let the grass run up to it in irregular tongues, never in a straight line.
For builders of mountain layouts and dioramas and for modelers who need to grass an extensive slope. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
