HEKI kreativ Wild Grass, Forest Floor, 45x17 cm is a grass mat in the muted tones of a forest floor.
Responsibility details are not available.
A grass mat from the German maker HEKI in the kreativ line, measuring forty-five by seventeen centimeters. The fibers are applied to a practically invisible backing and the mat tears into irregular pieces with no distinct edge. The forest floor variant is toned to a muted green shading into brown, of the kind that grows in the shade under tree crowns, where grass never gets enough light to deepen in color.
Apply spray adhesive to a new base and press the mat down; on an area already grassed the fibers hold even without glue. On a forest floor do not cover the whole area, as a real forest has grass only in islands where light falls between the crowns. Between the islands leave bare soil, leaf granulate and twigs. It is the irregular rhythm that makes a forest scene believable, more than the density of the growth.
For builders of forest dioramas and layouts with dense growth and for modelers who need greenery that is muted rather than fresh. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
