HEKI Mountain Meadow Mat, 40x24 cm, 2 pcs are two grass mats for mountain country.
Responsibility details are not available.
Two grass mats from the German maker HEKI, each measuring forty by twenty-four centimeters, toned as a high mountain pasture. Together that is almost two thousand square centimeters, enough to grass a whole mountain slope. In color the growth is paler and more uneven than a lowland meadow, because grass in the mountains grows more slowly and one tuft often has a different shade from the next.
Apply spray adhesive to a new base and press the mat down; on an area already grassed the fibers hold even without glue. In mountain terrain work with the relief: leave the growth thinner on the crests and denser in the hollows, because that is where moisture stays. Leave the rock bare in places and let the grass run up to it in irregular tongues. Where a footpath would run or cattle would stand, thin the growth right down to the base.
For builders of mountain layouts and dioramas and for modelers who need to grass an extensive slope. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
