HEKI Linden 18 cm is a mature model tree with an evenly vaulted crown.
Responsibility details are not available.
A finished model tree from the German maker HEKI, eighteen centimeters tall. The linden has a dense, evenly vaulted crown set fairly high and a straight trunk, so on a layout it reads as a cultivated tree rather than a piece of forest. In Central Europe it is the typical species of village greens, avenues and spots by churches and chapels, where it was planted deliberately and often became the oldest tree in the village.
The tree is pushed into a pre-drilled hole or glued by the foot of the trunk. With an eighteen-centimeter piece carrying a dense crown, make the hole deeper and fix the trunk in it with a drop of glue, otherwise the tree will lean under the weight of the crown. Spread the flattened branches carefully with your fingers after unpacking and leave the outline of the crown slightly irregular. Add grass and low growth under the tree, as bare ground under the crown is conspicuous on a model.
For layout and diorama builders fine-tuning the surroundings of buildings and village greens, and for modelers looking for a cultivated tree rather than a forest species. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
