HEKI Apple Trees 4 cm, 5 pcs is a set of five small fruit trees.
Responsibility details are not available.
Five finished model small trees from the German maker HEKI, four centimeters tall. Compared with forest species, an apple tree has a short trunk and a broad, low-set crown, because in an orchard it is shaped by pruning. At four centimeters these are young trees of the kind planted in an orchard after old ones have been felled, so the five can make up a whole new row or fill gaps in an existing orchard.
The small trees are pushed into a prepared hole or glued by the foot of the trunk. In an orchard plant them in rows at roughly equal spacing, because regularity sets an orchard apart from freely grown vegetation. A young orchard also has flatter, shorter grass between the rows than an old one, where the growth has already taken over. Spread the flattened crown carefully with your fingers after unpacking.
For builders of rural layouts and dioramas and for modelers fine-tuning orchards and gardens. The five can be supplemented with taller fruit trees of the same brand, and the orchard then looks as though it came into being gradually. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
