Seven finished model conifers from the German maker HEKI, seven to eleven centimeters tall. A fir has a regular conical crown with densely set branches and in a stand it looks dark and impenetrable. The manufacturer keeps its conifers at two levels of finish and this item belongs to the higher one, while the shape and the height stay comparable with the basic line.
The trees are pushed into a prepared hole or glued by the foot of the trunk. In a forest set them close together and leave the ground beneath them covered only with needles. Keep the spacing irregular and vary the heights. Spread the flattened branches carefully with your fingers after unpacking and keep the conical shape. It pays to place the pieces from the higher line at the front, where the viewer sees them close up.
For builders of layouts and dioramas with coniferous forest and for modelers who want a better finish in the foreground of a scene. The seven can be supplemented with further conifers of the same brand, extending the forest gradually. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
