Seven finished model conifers from the German maker HEKI, seven to eleven centimeters tall. A larch has an airier crown than a spruce and in autumn its needles turn yellow and drop, so it differs from the other conifers through the year as well. The manufacturer keeps its conifers at two levels of finish and this item belongs to the higher one, while the shape and the height stay comparable with the basic line.
The trees are pushed into a prepared hole or glued by the foot of the trunk. Arrange larches in clumps, not singly among spruces. Keep the spacing irregular and vary the heights. Spread the flattened branches carefully with your fingers after unpacking and leave the crown airy, as a dense cone does not belong to a larch. It pays to place the pieces from the higher line at the front, where the viewer sees them close up.
For builders of layouts and dioramas with coniferous forest and for modelers who want a better finish in the foreground of a scene. The seven can be supplemented with shorter larches of the same brand, extending the growth gradually. This is modeling material, not a toy.
